EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL

Like every year the harvest-time of the olives comes and the miracle of the birth of the fresch oil happens again. The olives-trees which blossom in May and June have produced the long-awaited new nectar, giving us, punctual and generous, the precious virgin olive oil. Already in the Ancient Rome the oils were used to be classified, and the first of the new year was called “Oleum ex albis ulivis”, much appreciated because extremely palatable.
